The First Invasion Of The Vikings


The first Vikings invasion happened in AD 793 against the Britain. Their last invasion took place in 1066 when William the Conqueror was the King of England following the Battle of Hastings. The Vikings’ first ever raid in Britain was in the monastery located in Lindisfarne. It is a small holy land set off England’s northeast’s coast.
